Yes, I simply want to write. Or should I say, the need. I'm going to share it here, and then anyway... not many people are going to read it.... AHAHAHAHAH
These are incredible times. I've been angry about this Covid19 for a long time. Why is it coming down on us? Why does everything go live? Why am I blocked in my projects? And now I'm starting to think that it's a wonderful experience. Yes, fantastic! I weigh my words.
I can already hear the indignation of those who may have lost someone close to them to this disease. Of course I mean no disrespect to them. But what I'm saying is that the whole planet is getting a slap in the face, and it needed it. Do you need this slap in the face? I do. The real faces have appeared. The masks are coming off. I liked some people, the ones you found nice, the ones you had a good chat with, and then after that Covid .... the real assholes! Poof.... the real face appears and you fall down.
Confinement has allowed people to find themselves. Introspection... sometimes it feels good, sometimes it hurts. And then you sort out your life.
I'm at that stage now. I've sorted out a lot of material things in my life. "Why do I have that thing at the back of the drawer that's useless? Then I'm sorting out the people around me. I also need to get rid of the things I haven't said, the resentments. Quite a mess to tidy up! In every sense of the word. But useful! Healing! It helps you evolve! So that's why I say that this Covid is the best thing that's ever happened to us. (Even if I have to die for it... once again, I weigh my words).
Except that this Covid affects more than just me, it affects the whole planet. So tidying up the mess all over the planet... OUHAOU! Let's be clear, one Covid won't be enough (and no!) Some things just can't go on. These people who line their pockets by crushing others or nature will one day soon collapse. This weekend I watched a very interesting report on Netflix called "Born to be Free". Two freedivers investigate the Belugas that are captured in Russia and then sold (by an intermediary who's making a fortune out of it, that's who!) to the United States, Japan and China to be used in dolphinariums. An incredible business worth millions of dollars! The chain is simple: local people are paid a pittance to capture belugas in nets in conditions that are appalling for the animals, which suffer and die (they keep their mouths shut, bury them underground in a rubbish dump and, above all, nobody cares!) The intermediary sells it to the dolphinariums. The dolphinarium makes a lot of money from the millions of entries each year. That's you, me, taking our children. Yes, I tell myself that the end of the chain is us. Quite simply us. And if we break the end of the chain.... No more Belugas to catch. And this guy with his deep pockets... he collapses.
That's an example I'm giving, but I'm sure the story is the same for the guy who runs the oil well. The intermediary between the Amazon and the Nutella factory in the palm oil trade. Etc....
I tell myself that this is where we have a role to play. Individually. Everyone does what they want, everyone is free to make their own choices. And anyone who says to me, "I don't give a damn about C.....", well, one day that's going to happen. Well, one day, that individual will collapse too. There's no denying that. It's called sorting things out, and that's where we are.
So here I am, seeing my inner change and I think I'm seeing the world change. Because in the end this Covid.... is just the beginning.
I think we need to get real. Honest. Get to the heart of the matter, more and more. Fight against the negativity that has invaded this world (not always easy, I grant you). Keep smiling, every day (not easy either, I grant you). But above all, we have to become aware. Awareness is the key. It's the start of changing the world. You're going to tell me that some of us have a long way to go. And you're right. But it will come. They say that light always wins over shadow.
So let's look forward to the most incredible time of our lives. The most incredible of our humanity. The most incredible of our century. Are you ready for it? Because it's happening now!
Thanks for reading. :)
